As a leader on the Acquisition & Awareness team, the Director, Paid Media will focus on effectively driving awareness and conversion for all FloSports’ brands across a mix of paid media channels. This role will oversee all aspects of campaign management including strategy, execution, budgeting, experimentation, optimization, and reporting. This role will also be responsible for building and developing a world-class internal team dedicated to paid search, paid display, paid social, and experimentation. Additionally, this role will collaborate across internal teams to develop standardized best practices to help scale the department and develop and implement robust testing and analytical processes. 

The position requires an experienced, strategic, and data-driven marketer with a proven track record of executing large-scale campaigns that drive business objectives and deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can develop a team while executing technical aspects of campaign management. Critical to this role is the ability to make data-informed decisions and bring a culture of experimentation to a complex and dynamic work environment. 

The position is based in Austin and reports to the Sr. Director, Acquisition & Awareness, who reports to the CMO. 


  • Strategize, plan, execute and optimize full-funnel acquisition campaigns across paid media channels for all FloSports brands
  • Manage and develop an internal team responsible for the execution and performance of campaigns across paid search, paid display, and paid social channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop testing roadmaps to maximize media mix, audience targeting, media placements, and messaging
  • Analyze campaign performance against KPIs including ROI, CAC, and LTV
  • Manage monthly and quarterly budgets and report performance against budget to Internal stakeholders
  • Research, experiment, and determine effectiveness of new channels in order to inform media mix
  • Deliver against aggressive acquisition goals to drive sustainable growth 


    • 8+ years of experience in paid marketing with 4+ years of management experience
    • Experience executing, analyzing, and optimizing large-scale paid search, paid social, and paid display campaigns
    • Proven ability to execute funnel testing roadmaps that optimize KPIs at each step of the funnel
    • Expertise with Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager
    • Experience developing and managing multi-million dollar paid media budgets optimized for KPIs including CAC, LTV, and ROI 
    • Experience defining audiences, markets, and targeting to optimize campaign performance and drive acquisition
    • Thorough understanding of ad attribution and tracking
    • Strong track record of driving scalable, sustainable growth through testing, measurement, and iteration
    • Proven ability to manage and develop a team of direct reports
    • Ability to communicate strategy and performance to key stakeholders at every level of the company
    • Team player who can collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • MS/MBA in Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Previous work history in tech, entertainment, or streaming 
  • Experience in subscription-driven businesses
  • Experience with other ad platforms such as TikTok Ads, Hulu Ads, and Apple Advertising
  • Experience in bid management tools
  • Experience is web analytics
  • Experience with Organic Social Media 
  • Copywriting and creative marketing skills
  • HTML/CSS, SQL, and data warehousing capabilities
