As a critical member of FloSports’ Digital Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will contribute directly to the success of the marketing department by assisting in leading subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts for our track and field verticals, FloTrack and MileSplit, across all digital marketing channels. The position requires subject matter expertise in track and field with experience in content marketing, social media, email marketing, paid media, SEO, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is a passionate track and field expert with marketing experience who can collaborate and communicate across multiple teams.



  • Develop digital marketing campaigns around live events, original content, products, and brands to meet or exceed quarterly subscriber acquisition and retention goals
  • Assist in the creation of marketing strategy and campaign management for FloTrack and MileSplit
  • Work closely with the content department to build and manage a comprehensive content marketing strategy for FloTrack and MileSplit
  • Assist in development of a comprehensive customer journey for FloTrack and MileSplit including audience segmentation, A/B testing, personalization, automation, email, push notifications, and in-app messaging
  • Manage the social media marketing strategy for FloTrack and MileSplit; Includes regular posting on all social media accounts, staying current on the pulse of the sport community, and providing insights into industry best practices and growth opportunities
  • Analyze and report campaign results to management and key stakeholders 
  • Optimize media mix based on data insights and performance metrics
  • Coordinate the creation of promotional assets with the internal design team 
  • Periodic travel to events for on-site marketing activation and to assist in live event coverage
  • Collaborate on cross-functional digital marketing projects 


  • 3+ years of proven experience executing holistic digital marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms and channels
  • Deep understanding of track and field 
  • Proven ability to plan and execute digital campaigns against acquisition, retention, and engagement goals
  • Track record of making data-informed decisions to improve marketing KPIs
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, maintain a detail-oriented approach, and consistently meet deadlines in a cross-functional work environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within the marketing team and cross-departmentally
  • An innovative, strategic thinker who will make an immediate, positive impact in the marketing department


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Previous work history in digital media
  • Experience with social media management software
  • Knowledge of photo and video editing tools
