Install Manager (Countertop)

Accent Countertops, founded in 1985, provides fabrication and installation of granite, quartz, and solid surface countertops. Located in Murray, Utah and Reno, Nevada, Accent fabricates out of a 40,000 sq ft facility with state-of-the-art equipment in Murray and services the Reno market from their sales and installation facility in Reno. Thirty-five years of quality service has established Accent Countertops as a local leader in countertop design and installation.
Required immediately, Accent Countertops Reno, NV is seeking a full time Install Manager.
Position Summary:
Manages a team of installers and templaters responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing countertops. Responsible for overseeing scheduling and other matters related to the installation of products.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Related secondary education with 2 years related experience or 5-7 years’ experience in a related field in lieu of formal education.
- Has a good understanding of construction or has a background in construction
- Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products and ability to learn other software programs
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
- Ability to coach, train and develop employees
- Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely booking of templates and installation
- Effectively manage the capacity of the install/template team within workload and capability
- Supervises the work of the installers ensuring efficiencies are maintained taking a proactive approach to ensure that the needs of the customer, the company and the installation team are met
- Oversees the scheduling of product installation and associated administration
- Provides regular and ad-hoc reporting as needed (i.e. run sheets, payouts etc.)
- Liaises with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction (i.e. customer service, sales, etc.)
- Responds to and resolves escalated installer questions or concerns
- Investigates and resolves escalated customer complaints related to an installation job
- Completes employee administration activities (reviews, vacation scheduling, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
- Day shift- Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
