🔧 Sawyer – Weekend Shift (Full-Time)

We’re currently hiring an Experienced Sawyer to join our Boise weekend shift team. If you enjoy hands-on work, precision cutting, and being part of a high-performing production team—this is your opportunity.

🛠 What You’ll Do

  • Set up work areas and safely position stone slabs
  • Measure, mark, and cut materials to exact specifications
  • Grind, sand, and polish stone as needed
  • Shape and finish surfaces using templates and blueprints
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
  • Follow all production and safety procedures
  • Support general production tasks as needed

✅ What You Bring

  • 1+ year experience in a similar role (stone fabrication preferred)
  • Experience with natural stone and engineered quartz
  • Familiarity with Northwood equipment is a plus
  • Strong math skills (fractions, measurements, precision cuts)
  • Experience with hand and power tools (table saw, chop saw, etc.)
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and safety-focused
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

💪 Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in wet conditions (hands/feet)
  • Safely lift 35–50 lbs regularly
  • Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
