Accent Countertops, founded in 1985, provides fabrication and installation of granite, quartz, and solid surface countertops. Located in Murray, Utah and Reno, Nevada, Accent fabricates out of a 40,000 sq ft facility with state-of-the-art equipment in Murray and services the Reno market from their sales and installation facility in Reno. Thirty-five years of quality service has established Accent Countertops as a local leader in countertop design and installation.


Required immediately, Accent Countertops Reno is seeking a Full-time Receptionist to join the team!

Position Summary:
Provides office administrative support, including reception, processing mail, word processing, preparation of daily bank deposits, filing, front line customer service, maintaining office equipment and supply levels, and other miscellaneous office assignments

Qualifications:

  • Related post-secondary education with 3-5 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Background in countertop and/or design is a plus
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Intermediate computer skills in data entry, Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in person and on the phone
  • Some quoting experience and dealing directly with walk in customers would be considered an asset 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet walk-in customers and meet their basic needs or direct them to a CSR for assistance
  • Schedule in-home consultations, manage and distribute general inquiry incoming emails
  • Maintain and order show room samples
  • Receives and directs telephone calls from customers and suppliers
  • Takes payment for cash-on-delivery orders by credit and debit card, cash and cheque
  • Processes all incoming and outgoing mail, including applying postage and distributing mail to recipients
  • Arranges couriers for inter-branch deliveries and bank deposits
  • Creates invoices for existing orders upon their completion
  • Greet walk-in customers and meet their basic needs or direct them to a CSR for assistance and or assist in scheduling
  • Schedule in-home consultations, manage and distribute general inquiry incoming emails
  • Files of all completed orders and invoices by matching paperwork from various departments
  • Prepares daily bank deposit. This includes entering all deposit items into the daily deposit spread sheet, preparing cheques for deposit and ensuring totals are correct
  • Closing of POS for the branch. Ensures that all transactions are recorded accurately and given to Accounts Receivable
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Day shift- Monday to Friday
