CBE, a Flex Technology Group company, is hiring a Director of Finance in Irvine, Ca. 
The salary range for this role is $200-$220k +15% bonus.
Position Summary
The Director of Finance is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the companies. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial reports, developing budgets, and implementing financial strategies to drive the company’s growth and financial health. The Director of Finance will provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes and align financial goals with the organization’s overall objectives. 
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Be the trusted finance partner to FTG company president delivering innovative value-added analysis and support.
  • Lead annual budgeting process, including developing financial models, analyzing variances, understanding historical trends and the current business environment.
  • Monitor and control expenditures to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Conduct month-end close procedures and prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Develop monthly forecasts and monitor financial results, analyzing against forecast and budget.
  • Conduct financial analysis and risk assessments to ensure adherence, and to guide business decisions. 
  • Manage, mentor and develop relevant staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Partner with Accounting, Order Coordination, Implementations Specialists, Purchasing, Leasing, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and Warehouse to streamline processes and improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Uphold fiduciary responsibility to ensure strict compliance with FTG company policies. 
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible financial experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP software, financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred. 
  • 12+ years of progressively responsible financial experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.  
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has supervisory responsibilities over a team within the Finance department.
  • Staffing decisions (Hiring, interviewing, disciplining, terminating, pay decisions).
  • Provides training, supervision, and evaluation of direct reports.
  • Process-Policy recommendations and direction to direct reports.
