Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will support the customer-facing project management department by leading large strategic revenue-driving projects. This includes creating large project plans, communication management, change management plans, detailed scoping sessions and organizing all project artifacts and leading in the implementation of large customer on-boards and hardware refreshments that help FTG grow our revenue. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders (internal and external) to be a very visible role within the organization.
The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $120,000
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management: Create large project plans/schedules and drive execution to meet FTG’s financial goals.
Resource Allocation: Work directly with FTG’s Sr. Leadership team regarding the allocation and scheduling of resources, including personnel and equipment, to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and project updates, and provide regular reports to management and clients.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the company's quality standards and client expectations.
Problem-solving: Address and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise during project execution, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Cross Functional Leadership: Lead all members of the project team across all internal departments and work strategically with the Department Leaders to address any issues as you drive the project forward.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in post-project evaluations and contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, IT, Operations, Logistics, Service/Supplies and project managers, to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals. Own facilitating meetings and workshops to gather input and provide updates on project progress.
Support and Training: Provide support to external end-users during the implementation of new customer processes/requirements. Work with Marketing in creating user guides and training materials to drive successful change management.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance project management skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
· 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager.
· Training in Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
· Must have Managed Print industry experience.
· Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
· Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet) is a plus.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong documentation and meeting note skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to travel up to 25% of time; adjust as necessary per customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
· Experience with Healthcare customers.
· Experience with Monday.com, Smartsheet and Miro board tools.
· Project management certification.
· Prior experience with project budgets exceeding $1M.
