As a Field Service Technician, you will shine as you multitask and manage a full customer workload. You will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair of office product equipment and for promoting and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction with our service and products. 
  
What you will be doing:   
  • Service products with minimum assistance 
  • Troubleshoot basic printing issues, able to determine printer vs network issues. 
  • Able to install scanning and equipment in a peer-to-peer environment. 
  • Manage inventory to company specifications. 
  • Maintain car, tool kit, and supplies. 
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and employees. 
  • Provide sales support including advising sales about problems or sales leads. 
  • Maintain professional appearances. 
  • Maximizing equipment up-time through timely repair 
  • Engaging the customer to assure satisfaction. 
  • Managing time to be most effective 
What you will bring to the role:   
  
  • Prior experience in maintaining and repairing Ricoh printers/copiers required (Canon, HP, Lexmark, Okidata, Sharp, and Xerox experience a plus) 
  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude and demonstrated skills. 
  • Knowledge of basic networking 
  • Computer and analytical skills 
  • A high school diploma is required, and an electronics or computer associate degree is preferred. 
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Pull, lift, reach, and transport equipment parts and boxes. 
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's license issued in your state of residence and a clean driving record. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot and think independently.
