Description

The Analyst II, Capital Markets gathers, analyzes and interprets product data in areas such as budgets, financial planning/ forecasting and cash flow projections, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform data manipulation, validation and analysis activities to improve efficiencies and identify opportunities in product profitability and performance
  • Analyze product strategies to support profitability and business plan goals
  • Coordinate and organize projects and processes that deliver business plan goals
  • Build and maintain cash flow and other financial models, providing analysis and insights as required
  • Assist with the building and mapping of databases related to loan purchase programs
  • Prepare, deliver and/or present reports, analyses and results for senior leadership, committees, and other business units
  • Draft and maintain documentation of procedures for producing reports
 
Experience and Education Requirement:
  • Minimum Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a data analyst role, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Working knowledge of financial statements, fixed income securities, total return concepts, economic data and the impact to capital markets
  • Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-volume peaks while producing high-quality work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically to all levels
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency with a data visualization/dashboarding tool (such as Tableau) is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of analytical/quantitative tools and databases (such as SQL, SAS, Python, R)
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced knowledge of Excel

Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:  $74,000 - $81,000 + annual bonus
