Commercial Lending Credit Analyst II
Description
The Credit Analyst II, Commercial reviews credit data, analyzes financial information and builds more complex credit files to prepare the commercial loan request for evaluation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review third party reports, cash flow analysis, credit strength, property characteristics and all other information pertinent to the credit decision process on each application
- Analyze sources of more complex financial information, such as financial statements, credit bureau reports and cash flows to determine potential risk and profitability of loan
- Complete financial and repayment analysis with a focus on cash flow, liquidity, and leverage analysis
- Partner with borrowers, lenders, legal counsel, commercial loan officers, and servicing regarding commercial real estate finance and loan administration
- Create and distribute reports to leadership as required, using key performance metrics and data to provide insights and make strategic business recommendations
- Prepare reports in response to new and additional credit proposals for loan officers and committees
- Participate in training and orientation of Credit Analysts
Experience and Education Requirement:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an analyst role supporting commercial and business lending functions; experience evaluating and analyzing complex tax returns
- Demonstrated ability to present complex commercial lending and credit risk related information to targeted audience
- Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
- Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionally handle sensitive documents
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Location: Hillsboro Corporate - Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation for Hillsboro, OR: $70,000 + $83,000 + Quarterly Incentives
