Director, Product Operations & Shared Services
Description
In this newly established role, the Director, Product Operations and Shared Services will play a pivotal role in supporting the Digital Products SVP and Digital Products team to deliver on ambitious digital-first plans in support of First Tech’s members. This is a highly critical role that will enable the Digital Products organization to mature and elevate its overall effectiveness and blends tactical, hands-on operations, digital and omnichannel strategy, communication, and storytelling along with team influence and leadership.

Job Duties
- Implement and evolve an operating framework for the Digital Products team including establishing meeting cadences and accompanying materials to align with and complement the broader enterprise and operating routines.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication across the digital products domain by designing and facilitating an operating rhythm of meetings and reporting.
- Lead Digital Products planning and drive project and performance tracking along with the creation and maintenance of all related artifacts or documentation.
- Identify opportunities to partner closely with digital products and continuous improvement leaders to understand existing product road maps, perform market analysis, assess trends, and identify new opportunities.
- Facilitate effective communication between product management, IT, marketing, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth product launches and iterations.
- Provide insightful, data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership based on analysis, technical acumen, experience and solid judgment on digital banking and financial industry trends.
- Manage the budget for Digital Products organization, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with organizational priorities and collaborate with finance and leadership teams to track operational costs and manage return on investment (ROI) for product initiatives.
- Hire and coach Digital Products Shared Services team members.
Essential Skills
- 7 years of experience in product operations, product management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a diverse team including hiring, coaching and performance management.
- Experience standing up highly effective and efficient business performance processes and routines.
- Experience with a variety of product development processes and methodologies.
- Strong background developing highly impactful materials for both storytelling and business performance tracking.
- Able to articulate complex concepts while tailoring the message to different audiences including senior leadership, technical teams, and member support teams.
- A strong point of view and passion for delivering best-in-class digital experiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple assignments and deliverables simultaneously with the flexibility to meet changing needs and demands.
- Management Consulting experience a plus.
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Product Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | San Jose, CA 95134 | (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $160k - $180k annually + annual bonus
Target Compensation in San Jose, CA 95134: $200k - $230k annually + annual bonus
