Senior Compensation Analyst
Description
The Senior Compensation Analyst designs and manages competitive, equitable compensation programs, with a strong focus on incentive plan design and analytics. This role uses advanced analytical expertise and business insight to support consistent, data-driven pay decisions. The position partners cross-functionally with leaders and HR to analyze compensation data and develop solutions aligned with business goals and organizational needs.

Job Duties:
- Lead analysis, modeling, and administration of incentive programs, including annual bonus and incentive/commission variable pay plans
- Evaluate current incentive structures and recommend enhancements that support business objectives, ensure competitiveness, and maintain internal fairness
- Conduct job evaluations and market pricing reviews, using survey data and market insights to recommend pay ranges and job alignment
- Develop compensation models, dashboards, and reports that translate data into actionable insights for HR and business leaders
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to advise on compensation matters, ensuring policies and programs are consistently understood and applied
- Manage components of the annual compensation cycle, such as bonus calculations, salary adjustments, and structure updates, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Monitor market trends, regulatory updates, and competitive practices to inform compensation program development and mitigate risk
- Support participation in salary surveys and analyze survey outputs to maintain accurate, up‑to‑date market benchmarks
- Contribute to the design and governance of compensation guidelines, tools, and communication materials that improve understanding and decision‑making.
- Conduct advanced pay equity analytics and partner with HR to support remediation strategies
- Evaluate, propose, and implement improvements to compensation programs such as sign‑on, retention, SPOT bonuses, and incentive structures
- Serve as a system expert for the compensation management platform, lead enhancements, testing, audits, and user training
- Interpret compensation policies and provide guidance to HR and business leaders
Essential Skills:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in compensation and HR analytics, with demonstrated exposure to variable pay programs
- Solid understanding of compensation principles, including incentive plans, salary structures, job evaluation, and market pricing
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and clearly communicate findings to non‑HR audiences
- Experience working with HRIS and compensation systems; proficiency in pulling, cleansing, and validating data
- Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong partnership and communication skills with the ability to influence and support leaders across the business
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or like field (or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
- Certification/License: CCP preferred
Location: Hillsboro Corporate Office | Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $125,000 to $140,000 + annual bonus
