Manager, Marketing Strategy
Description
The Marketing Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and testing messaging for product features and benefits, identifying competitive differentiators and optimizing marketing messaging and member journeys across a portfolio of products, partnering closely with product leads, operations, engagement, analytics, and marketing teams to help develop, test, and optimize our go-to-market campaigns and automations across the member journey.

Job Duties
- Lead a team of high-performing and engaged employees through effective people leadership practices including regular communication of performance expectations and feedback to employees to maintain high team performance; provide coaching and corrective action as required; actively support employee professional growth and development.
- Meet established department metrics including high quality member experience, effectiveness and efficiency; update leader on all major projects, employee issues and goal progress.
- Manage the creation, execution and optimization of highly personalized, multi-channel marketing campaigns that deliver against business goals.
- Create, execute always-on go-to-market plans for product launches to increase awareness, demand, and adoption.
- Work closely with other product marketing managers, marketing channel leads and cross functional teams to gain alignment and implement omnichannel campaigns and journeys across all touchpoints; paid, owned and partners.
- Collaborate with internal business leads to identify market opportunities, define goals and prioritize activities to drive product demand and adoption.
- Lead a team of strategic and product marketing professionals, providing guidance and direction to drive results.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, programs and segments.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, championing best practices and driving adoption of new processes and technologies.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in product management and acquisition marketing; within financial services industry preferred.
- People management and development skills, adept at providing frequent and valuable performance feedback to develop and build employees.
- Experience leading and interfacing with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to effectively present ideas to senior leadership.
- Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking, and negotiation.
- Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines.
- Ability to foster strong internal and external business relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change and innovation.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree (in Marketing, business administration or related field) required or equivalent years’ experience.
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $125k - $135k annually + annual bonus
