This position can be a hybrid schedule with a mix of working in-office and working from home, but candidates must be located in our business footprint (TN or AL) Specific cities include: Nashville, TN, Franklin, TN, Knoxville, TN, Crossville, TN, Chattanooga, TN, Memphis, TN or Birmingham, AL areas as that is the office this position will sit at. 

Summary:

The position will be responsible for creating and implementing a commercial and consumer credit analytics reporting function within the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain standardized and ad-hoc reporting with large data sets using multiple systems and automate the reporting solutions, responsible for the development and on-going ownership of credit and asset quality reports
  • Partner with the Finance team to manage and execute the credit reporting function; perform complex analysis and reports for multiple internal and external teams, including senior leadership and examiners
  • Identify opportunities within reporting and banking platforms to create and streamline an efficient reporting process; drive continuous improvement and standardization in the reporting process to support business needs as well as regulatory responses
  • Partner with business leaders to make recommendations based on identified key business drivers and trends to influence business decisions
  • Support periodic due diligence and audit proceedings

Education and/or Experience

  • Experience utilizing existing data sources within core and/or existing reporting systems such as Jack Henry, COGNOS, Axiom, One Stream, Power BI and other platforms
  • Experience working with other industry credit reporting software packages
  • Strong history of implementing and/or managing similar projects at banks of >$10B in assets
  • Working knowledge and understanding of banking asset quality and credit administration terms and concepts as well as commercial and consumer banking lending platforms
  • Advanced/expert level of MS Excel experience and comfort around working with large datasets including a strong understanding of database structure and queries, and the ability to use SQL freely required.
