Finvi (previously Ontario Systems) is looking for a Consultant.

This position will be remote. You may work where you live anywhere in the United States.

Background Clearance: Candidates selected must successfully pass a federal government background clearance process as a condition of employment. The clearance process will be initiated upon start date (Must be fully vaccinated).

What You’ll Do

  • Implement our software solutions to meet our customer business needs: Includes configuration changes to meet those needs
  • Perform managed services and other consulting engagements
  • Follow delivery best practices, methodologies, project timelines, scope and budget to stay on task and on plan
  • Proactively identify risks and blockers, determine root cause, and possible mitigation strategies
  • Gather, document, and analyze business needs
  • Create and execute unit and solution test plans
  • Assist clients with creating user-acceptance test plans
  • Conduct application-specific training for clients
  • Learn the industry we serve and share domain expertise

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer related area, business, management, or related field
  • Experience and knowledge of SQL and Microsoft tools including Visio, Excel, Project, and Word
  • Aptitude and experience with object oriented scripting language (Python, Perl, JavaScript, PHP).
  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical related experience such as help desk support, technical support, software implementations into business practices, managing a technical support center for external customers
  • Business acumen to understand the customer's need in order to achieve the desired results
  • Demonstrated client facing experience and ability to deliver revenue-generating services to our customers
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels ranging from collection managers/operations managers to end users
  • Experience in consumer and business payment recovery or specific knowledge in multiple lines of business such as the government sector, medical self-pay, insurance follow-up, credit card, etc. is a plus
  • Collections experience is a plus
  • Travel required and may be up to 50%

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $73,500 - $141,700 per year.

Finvi has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role (the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location). Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Finvi, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and equity. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
