Objectives of this role:
The Media team is responsible for developing comprehensive omnichannel media campaigns to meet client goals. This includes media channel strategy, tactical recommendations, including RFP development, and projections analyses to determine spend by channel and by tactic. The media team gathers target audience insights from research tools and media partner insights, including consumption habits, channel preference, etc. and collaborates with account, strategy and creative teams to ensure that media strategies are properly integrated within larger marketing programs and creative executions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for administrative and executional efforts including but not limited to status reports, traffic sheets, financials, research, planning/buying assistance, campaign management, and relationship building internally and with outside partners
- Establishes basic knowledge of media research tools (audience insights, competitive creative/spend)
- Establish basic knowledge of assigned brands (and category), media channels, and media planning/buying processes
- Develops relationships with and serves as point of contact for media vendors for tasks relating to media planning, campaign performance, and financial management
- Communicates regularly with internal counterparts across capabilities such as digital strategy, PM, account, creative, to share spec sheets, media plan program details, project status updates, etc.
- Responsible for the accurate completion of ad trafficking requests and QA
- Develops spec sheets based on approved media programs and manages creative tracker of approved assets, ensuring all parties complete it accurately
- Basic agency inner workings and how media capability fits within all-service job flow
- Competency in media math, financial terminology, and media buying terms and conditions
Job Requirements:
- 1+ years relevant experience and/or Bachelors degree in digital marketing, marketing, business, or related field preferred
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and/or media landscape
- Desire to learn pharmaceutical brands (and category), media channels, and media planning/buying processes?
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can step out of their comfort zone
- Team player, willing to build relationships across internal counterparts (such as digital strategy, account, PM, etc.) as well as with outside vendors
