The Project Manager is responsible for leading medical communications projects from start to finish. This includes managing content development, advisory boards, speaker training, and other initiatives. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
This role requires strong communication, organization, and leadership skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and keep projects running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build strong relationships with clients and medical experts (faculty)
· Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and team members
· Lead project planning meetings and track timelines and deliverables
· Keep all stakeholders informed with regular updates and status reports
· Manage day-to-day project tasks and prioritize for junior team members
· Oversee project details including content creation, logistics, communications, and supplier management
· Monitor timelines and quality across all assigned projects
· Support onboarding and training of new team members as needed
Ideal Candidate:
· 2-5 years experience in healthcare communications agency
· Experienced in managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects
· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and great at time management
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Able to solve problems, manage deadlines, and keep teams motivated
Education: A bachelor’s degree is required.
Professional Skills & Experience: Two to five years of relevant project management experience in a healthcare communications environment is required. Candidates must have the ability to grasp detailed process aligned to internal and external SOPs, along with a strong technical aptitude and working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
