The MedThink SciCom team is seeking a motivated individual who will support the account group and execute project tasks. You will monitor budgets and ensure adherence to project timelines. Assuring the successful completion of final deliverables is a part of your nature. You will create the path for success between the client and our team.

Position Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the health sciences, marketing, or communications field
Experience:
- 1-2 years of work experience in healthcare, marketing or communications field
- Pharmaceutical or agency internship a plus
- Demonstrated leadership experience/potential
Position Responsibilities
Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:
- Client management
- Supports account team, specifically SAE/Account Supervisor (AS)
- Schedules and prepares materials for client meetings
- Documents client contacts (via e-mail), requests (change orders), and meetings (conference reports) concisely and accurately
- Researches and recommends (with AS/Assoc. Account Director [AAD]/Account Director [AD] approval) journals and conferences
- Submits abstracts/manuscripts and follows up on acceptance
- Maintains publication details in publication management portals or other systems in a compliant manner as required by clients
- Performs research as directed by SAE/AS/AAD/AD
- Project management
- Opens and closes jobs
- Maintains status report, including timelines
- Develops client/product meeting minutes and contact reports
- Maintains electronic and hard-copy job folders based on Handles mail, delivery, and pickup tasks as necessary for account team established procedures
- Performs other tasks as delegated by account team
- New business
- Assists with research as directed by AS/AAD/AD
- Prepares materials for presentations
Talent and Knack
The candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with publication management software (eg, Datavision) a plus
- Excellent research/data entry skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Superior oral and written communications skills
- Ability to manage numerous projects, requests, and responsibilities
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
