This role is largely remote but will require someone to be local to the tristate area to visit our Cedar Knolls, NJ office as needed.   
Objectives of This Role:  
We’re looking for an engagement strategist who is ready to help shake up the status quo in healthcare marketing. The right individual will be comfortable understanding, shaping, and optimizing a brand’s multichannel footprint. This person will be responsible for ensuring a strategic vision is kept alive throughout—and complemented by—an integrated and smart execution plan. The role requires a knack for problem-solving, strong presentation skills, and a curious spirit. Key learning objectives include analyzing and applying available data across the brand to drive or support agency points of view (POVs); crafting POV and strategic recommendations; and providing clients with innovated strategies that span digital, social, mobile, and traditional media.  
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Work alongside account, strategy, and creative teams to ensure that digital and engagement strategies are properly integrated within the larger marketing programs 
  • Leverage audience targets, analytics data, digital trends, user behaviors, competitive audits, and asset/experience evaluations to understand the brand situation and develop informed marketing approaches 
  • Support in the defining of audience archetypes, customer micro-journeys, content needs, and engagement pillars through a combination of independent and client-provided research 
  • Serve as a champion for best practices and trends across digital, social, mobile, and traditional media 
  • Track, distill, and share relevant digital, technological, and innovation insights while making recommendations for optimizing tactics to the broader team to apply to client solutions 
  • Effectively present in various settings one-on-one, small/large groups, with peers, subordinates, and bosses and outside organizations 
  • Deliver optimal customer experiences by aligning digital marketing strategies with client’s business goals and evaluating multiple touchpoints 
  • Lead engagement workshops for tactical planning and pitches 

Job Requirements:
  • 2 to 5 years in digital marketing or engagement strategy (within a pharmaceutical agency strongly desired)
  • Experience in creating or optimizing content strategies informed by data and competitive insights
  • Understanding of UX principles and UI design to enhance user engagement
  • Practical experience and strong knowledge of integrated marketing disciplines:
    • Content Strategy
    • CRM Experience
    • Direct Marketing
    • SEO/SEM best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Familiar with Google Analytics and SEMRush
