Description
- Develop compelling and scientifically sound market access deliverables, including but not limited to: value dossiers, economic models, slide decks, reports, and responses to payer queries.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of scientific literature, clinical trial data, and market access landscape information to support the development of persuasive arguments for product value.
- Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, concise, and impactful language tailored to specific market access audiences (e.g., payers, HTA bodies).
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (e.g., market access strategists, health economists, account managers) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, medical experts) to ensure alignment on project objectives and content.
- Participate in internal and external client meetings, contributing scientific expertise and insights as needed.
- Ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all written materials with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on scientific advancements, evolving market access trends, and payer requirements.
- Understand and articulate the clinical utility and economic value of therapeutic interventions within specific disease states from a market access perspective.
- Contribute to the development of strategic communication plans and messaging for market access initiatives.
- Support new business development activities by contributing to proposals and presentations as required.
- Maintain the highest professional standards and represent the company positively in all interactions.
- Education - MD, PharmD, PhD, or advanced nursing degree with a strong scientific background.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional medical writing experience, preferably within a market access agency, pharmaceutical company (market access department), or health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) consultancy.
- Proven experience in developing market access deliverables such as value dossiers, economic models, formulary submissions, and HTA submissions.
- Strong understanding of health economics principles, outcomes research methodologies, and global market access processes.
- Experience in analyzing clinical trial data, scientific literature, and real-world evidence to develop compelling value arguments.
- Familiarity with payer decision-making processes and requirements in key global markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with literature search databases (e.g., PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase).
