People & Culture Coordinator
Description
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the People Operations team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.
- HRIS Data Management: Maintain and update employee data in our HRIS ensuring data integrity and accuracy. Generate standard reports as needed.
- Employee Lifecycle: Coordinate and execute onboarding activities for new hires, including paperwork, system access, and new hire orientation logistics. Assist with the offboarding process, including termination in systems.
- Record Keeping & Payroll Support: Maintain organized and confidential employee & payroll files ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements. Payroll administrative support as needed.
- Employee Inquiries: Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters, providing timely and helpful responses or escalating as needed.
- Policies and Procedures: Assist in the communication and distribution of company HR policies and procedures.
- Culture and Engagement: Support initiatives that foster a positive company culture and enhance employee engagement (annual engagement survey, wellness initiatives, etc.).
- Projects and Initiatives: Participate in various HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the People Operations Team.
- 1-2 years’ experience in an HR related role
- Proven ability to forge relationships with employees at all levels
- Express oneself clearly and concisely in oral and written communications
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and HRIS systems
- Ability to work independently
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Must be versatile and detail oriented
- Must be team oriented and adaptable to change
- Solution Oriented Mindset: Demonstrates a focus on resolving employee inquiries and HRIS data discrepancies by identifying practical fixes and escalating complex issues with a recommended course of action.
- Interpersonal/Communication Skills: Serves as an approachable and professional first point of contact, capable of translating complex HR policies into clear, digestible information for employees and new hires.
- Organizational & Time Management: Effectively prioritizes high-volume administrative tasks—such as calendar management and onboarding logistics—to ensure all lifecycle milestones and record-keeping deadlines are met with precision.
- Initiative and Proactivity: Anticipates the needs of the People Operations team by identifying ways to streamline orientation processes or advance culture initiatives before being prompted.
