Studio Intern
Description
- Duration: 10 weeks, 30 hours per week
- Schedule: June 9th - August 15th
- Location: Primarily remote, with occasional travel required to our Cedar Knolls, NJ office for purposeful engagement. Candidates should be within driving distance of the Cedar Knolls, New Jersey Office
- Collaborate with creative, project management, and account teams to assist in project development
- Learn the Fingerpaint process and adhere to team quality standards
- Support the team by working with supervisor to foster innovative solutions
- Learn current trends and technology in print and digital production
- Help with production handoff, preparing files for print or digital vendors
- Track your time and learn how to stay within project budgets
- Assist in revising projects in the digital routing system
- Communicate project status and any changes to the team regularly
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD (experience a plus).
- Experience creating presentations with PowerPoint
- Learn to create presentations that communicate complex ideas through design and storytelling
- Develop an eye for layout, typography, and design principles
- Understand the process of spec’ing and slicing digital projects
- Gain experience creating and editing graphics, photo retouching and working with motion graphics
- Sharpen your communication skills and attention to detail in a collaborative environment
- A passion for design and eagerness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Currently enrolled in a design-related program or have relevant coursework or experience
- A creative and adaptable mindset ready to tackle new challenges
