The Opportunity: Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will be instrumental in shaping and executing social media initiatives for a diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical and health & wellness clients. You'll manage the day-to-day social media efforts for client brands, including strategy execution, paid social advertising, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Core Function:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies for pharmaceutical brands, across HCP and DTC audiences.
  • Activate, optimize, and QA paid social campaigns across major platforms with error-free execution.
  • Use social listening and analytics tools to evaluate performance, analyze competitors, and uncover audience insights that inform targeting, content, and platform strategy.
  • Conduct performance analysis and present actionable insights to maximize engagement and conversion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with analytics, creative, and client partners to refine messaging, ensure cross-channel integration, and deliver cohesive strategies.
  • Support campaign planning, execution, and budget management while serving as a steward for financial operations.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through POVs, research, and process improvements that create efficiencies across teams.
  • Conduct audience and competitive research to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and evolving consumer behaviors in the pharmaceutical social media space.

What You'll Bring: Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 1–3 years of experience managing paid social media campaigns, ideally within a pharmaceutical or health & wellness agency.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager and strong knowledge of other major platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, X).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex performance data into actionable optimization recommendations.
  • Proven attention to detail with experience QA’ing campaigns, budgets, and client deliverables.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly convey strategy and results to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, and curious mindset with a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with Prisma (MediaOcean), Kantar, Telmar, etc. a plus.
  • Social listening and audience planning experience a plus.
