Objectives of This Role:
A Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of entire projects, including budgeting, hiring team members, sourcing suppliers, and coordinating project releases. All of this is undertaken with the aim of achieving Fingerpaint’s overarching business goals and vision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and assist in the development of projects and programmes that establish quality objectives
  • Manage teams through all stages of the project life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and final delivery
  • Oversee a department and team of project managers, managing budgets, schedules, and risk assessments
  • Interface directly with managers, employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders to clearly define project requirements and expectations
  • Create work plans that include schedules, milestones, controls, and risk management strategies
  • Identify complex risks, lead risk reviews, and develop and implement mitigation plans
  • Manage multiple projects both individually and as part of a team, simultaneously
  • Ensure the protection of confidential and sensitive information
  • Enhance the company's reputation by taking ownership, exploring new possibilities, and adding value to the organisation
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions
Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • PMP certification preferred, but not essential
  • At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience planning and managing projects involving large data sets and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
  • Proven leadership and team management experience
  • Ability to prioritise and balance multiple projects and competing demands
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Experience managing projects through the full life cycle
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget
