The Client Financial Analyst is responsible for day-to-day financial management in a growing advertising agency The analyst will be required to highlight key issues and minimize exposure items to the finance manager that may impact profitability or negative cash flow. The client financial analyst will have direct contact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and office leads.
General responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating all financial aspects or needs of a client including, but not limited to:
  • Managing client financial onboarding
  • Preparing, reviewing, and approving invoices, in conjunction with account service
  • Leading financial review meetings
  • Managing accounts receivable
  • Monitoring accruals and budget
  • Preparing and reviewing external and internal client reporting and analysis
  • Assisting with other ad hoc financial projects
  • Analyzing monthly revenue recognition
  • Driving financial processes and compliance
  • Partnering with/influencing client teams to ensure productive and accurate client financial management
What it takes:
  • Ability to prepare and analyze client financial documents
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-driven
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Willingness to jump in and assist with other financial-related tasks
  • Willingness to travel to other office locations as necessary
Know-how:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience in a billable hour environment preferred, but not required
