Our targeted educational programs and strategic communications support product adoption and drive commercial success in competitive therapeutic areas.

Objectives of this Role:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Associate Director of Analytics to join our growing team at Fingerpaint Medical, a full-service medical communications agency that thinks creatively and solves complex challenges.
This role will balance day-to-day client analytics reporting for a portfolio of pharma and healthcare clients while simultaneously advancing the team's data infrastructure in collaboration with the Managing Director — building the pipelines, databases, and automated processes that reduce manual effort, unlock efficiencies, and more sophisticated analysis over time.
You will report directly to the Managing Director, Insights & Connections, and work alongside media strategists, digital strategists, and medical affairs teams to turn raw marketing and media data into clear, actionable client deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy & Vision
  • Develop deep understanding of our medical clients’ business to provide consultative guidance on the strategies and objectives. Own the development of marketing measurement approaches to gauge effectiveness against those objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to the current analytics tech stack that will strengthen the team's capabilities or expand the solutions we offer clients.
  • Mentor analysts and contribute to building a team culture grounded in curiosity and data rigor.

Execution
  • Own the end-to-end reporting workflow — merging data from Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360, and other paid/owned media platforms, then cleaning, transforming, and visualizing that data for client delivery.
  • Maintain and improve existing dashboards; build new ones as client needs evolve.
  • Translate data findings into clear performance narratives and optimization recommendations for internal and client stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
  • Oversee tag management implementations via Google Tag Manager; troubleshoot data collection issues quickly.
  • Educate and consult clients from a measurement strategy best practices standpoint

Job Requirements:
  • Analytical thinker, quantitative orientation, and excellent problem solver who can uncover the ‘why’ and the ‘so what’
  • 5+ years of analytics experience, with hands-on work in marketing or media data environments
  • Strong proficiency building dashboard end-to-end in tools like Power BI — including data modeling, data cleaning, data visualization..
  • Direct experience pulling and working with data from Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, and/or Campaign Manager 360.
  • Experience implementing analytics installations via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience with improving data pipelines, automating reporting workflows, or building database-backed analytics solutions.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can present findings to clients and non-technical stakeholders.
