Production Artist
Description
- File Preparation & Execution:
- Revises design files throughout the project life cycle with minimal creative lead oversight.
- Prepares final art files for various production outputs (e.g., print, digital, large format).
- Applies approved brand colors, logos, and design elements to documents and artwork.
- Preproduction & Technical Knowledge:
- Demonstrates general preproduction knowledge for print and digital mediums.
- Utilizes working knowledge of digital development in Figma.
- Applies working knowledge of PowerPoint to make basic edits to text and animation.
- Asset Management & Organization:
- Demonstrates strong organizational and file-management habits
- Assists in maintaining, organizing, and tagging the studio's image libraries, artwork, and branding assets.
- Ensures all project files are correctly saved, stored, and named according to established studio protocols.
- Studio Support & Workflow:
- Supports the studio in following established deadlines and workflows to contribute to the smooth and timely delivery of projects.
- Experience & Education:
- 1 to 2 years relevant experience in a production environment or through intensive internships.
- Preferred BS or BA in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Software Proficiency (Essential):
- Proficient in Figma for digital design work.
- Proficient in the Adobe CC suite of applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to work with corporate templates.
