HR Specialist - LMS, ( 23-7432)

Job Summary:
The HR Specialist-LMS will provide high quality support for the learning services team. This role manages requests to be executed within the Learning Management System and supports LMS troubleshooting, reporting, and client consultation requests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Administration
- Conduct course closure activities including learner completion credits and certificate uploads.
- Upload courses as requested and ensures they are working out without errors.
- Ensure courses are reviewed in a timely manner, assist during high volume periods, create templates, and communicate new signature programs.
- Handle data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
- Maintain files and personnel records to ensure information is accurate and up to date
- Liaise with operations teams and other functional areas (EHS, HR, Compliance among others) to ensure all employees have completed timely all trainings prior to mobilization
- Assist with ad-hoc projects within the team and other administrative tasks as assigned. Projects may require to work with instructional designers, contractors, vendors, and IT resources to develop innovative solutions to improve the usability and user experience.
- Has ability to work within timelines, budget and can have difficult conversations when in best interest of business outcomes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Reporting & analysis
- Distribute, collect, track and act on all requests.
- Create regular reports on enrollment, usage, completion, and other relevant metrics to improve user engagement, and inform future training initiatives.
- Maintain data integrity and create reports to demonstrate compliance with defined requirements.
LMS knowledge & Problem solving
- Assist learners and resolves issues related to access, course completion, credits among others.
- Ensures issues are resolved following established procedures.
- Asks questions, checks for understanding and exchanges technical information with the learners to identify where the problem is and provide solutions.
- Consult or escalate complex problems to the LMS functional manager or IT to solve issues when needed.
- Ensure the required LMS knowledge is acquired in order to support the learners and propose improvements. This knowledge can include and is not limited to:
- Understanding of workflows
- How to access and use reference guides to solve problems
- Understanding on how LMS intregrates with other systems
- Provide exceptional customer service experience for end-users seeking support utilizing LMS features.
- Demonstrate ability to work through issues autonomously and follow escalation guidance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2+ years of work experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work
- English proficiency required
- Associate degree preferred
- Travel may be required High level of computer literacy

- Ability to prepare accurate reports containing findings and recommendations and perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines
