Job Summary:
Tendering Manager is responsible for the scoping, resource loading, scheduling and costing transactional outages across Asia Pacific, allowing excellence across a number of key metrics, including win-loss, health & safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost & productivity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Partners with GP Commercial Operations, Sales, OTR & FieldCore Event Management & Project Controls teams to explore, scope, schedule & cost Field Service opportunities
  • Supports initial opportunity exploration with R-process along with providing effective hand-over to OTR & Event Management teams once won
  • Leads activities to optimize field service offering with productivity products and to provide competitive transactional offerings to existing or potential customers
  • Maintains knowledge of various field service solutions and the cost granularity across the region including country variations in sourcing solutions and differing customer expectations
  • Supports Financial pacing & forecasting for GP transactional events along with win-loss, CM and fulfilment performance analysis
  • Accountable for preparing effective & competitive job cost estimates, scopes, schedules and risk assessments for service opportunities
  • Deliver tangible improvements within the transactional Gas, Steam Turbine and Generator portfolio in the following key performance indicators: EHS, Quality, On-time delivery, Cost, Productivity
  • Partner with Event Management team to ensure feedback loop to drive continuous improvement and provide inputs to key planning and review processes
  • Partner with Resources, Sourcing, Tooling, Event Management and Affiliates to drive outage cost elements reduction
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with three years’ field experience in a Project Controls capacity
  • Technical knowledge and understanding relevant to the product and its maintenance
  • Excellent planning and project management skills and fully conversant with related methodologies and tool
  • 7+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 2+ years of specialized/industry experience
