Job Summary:

The Region Controller will manage the Region’s controllership program to maintain the integrity and reporting accuracy of the local financial results. The Region Controller will execute and manage accounting strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business needs to ensure compliance with local laws and local region’s financial needs. The Controller Director II will lead and manage a global controllership team. The Controller Director II will manage audits, records, analytical reports, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local laws and company policies and estimate financial outcomes. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage controllership strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with business needs to ensure compliance with local laws
  • Support management of local AP team in daily activities
  • Maintain financial controls regionally to ensure compliance with local regulations and safeguard information
  • Implement improved systems and processes to streamline controllership activities and meet deliverables more effectively
  • Manage general ledger account reconciliations in accordance with parent company standards
  • Manage monthly close and reporting requirements for region
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis of the balance sheet and provide data to the regional leadership and HQ team
  • Handle statutory auditing reviews with external accounting firm, CAS site audits
  • Oversee tax audits, government agencies requirements and legal related matters
  • Manage audits, statutory filings, records, analytical reports, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local laws and company policies and estimate financial outcomes
  • Verify cost analysis and risk assessments
  • Understand and maintain ERP accounting rules
  • Support region budgeting activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel may be required
  • English proficiency required
  • Manage and develop employees

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • 4+ years of specialized/industry experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • Master’s degree in related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures, administrative skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Oracle Financials
  • Intermediate Microsoft Access and reporting skills are preferred
  • Excellent communication, management, and organizational skills
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish daily, weekly, monthly tasks and work independently as well as with a team
