Role Summary/Purpose:

The Productivity Manger II works in support of the Productivity Director and his/her team within Global Operations. Leads Productivity projects and initiatives to drive process simplification and improvements across the business. Owns many tools and templates wing-to-wing across outage planning requiring knowledge and competence to be built across the business. This role leads and facilitate kaizen and interface directly with various roles within the company including Field Employees, Functional Subject Matter Experts, and Executives.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead several Productivity projects and initiatives driving process simplification and improvements across the business
  • Analyze data to drive decisions quickly and efficiently through use of pivots and Pareto’s
  • Drive and facilitate the timely delivery of products with high data quality
  • Use problem solving tools and templates to identify root cause and appropriate corrective actions to reduce/eliminate defects
  • Build and maintain action plans using macros
  • Use lean tools and concepts to improve processes
  • Support problem solving and kaizen to improve business key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Own improvement efforts driving business key performance indicators towards annual targets
  • Own the respective action plan and problem-solving templates (I.e., Outage OTD, FSR, Outage Readiness, etc.)
  • Own and support the outage planning process both current templates and future state
  • Interface with field employees and functional SME’s to support initiatives within Global Operations
  • Become a subject matter expert in assigned areas of responsibility
  • Build and/or optimize processes through simplification
  • Create value in tools/templates by aligning them closer to their intended use and capturing the voice of the customer
  • Present and communicate work to others
  • Conduct training and sharing session where applicable
  • Limited travel requirements, including internationally (<15%)
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge building and improving processes
  • 3+ years of specialized/industry experience building and improving processes driving Productivity
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, program management and process skills
  • Excellent communication and management skills and strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees
  • Work well both independently and in a team environment (capable of being managed remotely with little oversight while meeting assigned deliverables)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Written and oral English proficiency required

  • Lean Certified Green or Black Belt
  • Familiarity with Six sigma DMAIC process implementation
  • Knowledge of PS systems and applications
  • Knowledge of PS outage planning & execution processes
  • Basic comprehension of preferred software applications: Tableau, Smartsheet, Miro, ThoughtSpot, Python, Primavera
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel. Capable of building and manipulation of macros
  • Strong presentation skills. Polished communicator capable of breaking technical problems down quickly and succinctly to audiences with varying backgrounds.
