Role Summary/Purpose

The Tooling Operations Coordinator supports fulfilment of tools across the region providing support in the areas of order fulfilment, general operations, systems support, order tracking and other administrative activities. The Tooling Operations Coordinator will perform some or all of the functions below in addition to other duties that may be assigned.

Essential Function

  • Responsible for engaging in order entry, management and tracking of tools utilizing Tooling digial systems
  • Acts as a requester for all PO requests for items purchased by the Tool Center
  • Assist with billing process as appropriate; calculate invoices and feed to billing systems
  • Connects with vendors to obtain quotes for equipment or fabricated tools necessary for the Tool Center
  • Aggregate data and metrics for management team
  • Clarifies tool requests with the region field teams who requested tool kits
  • Build positive relationships with end field customers
  • Receive and valiate purchases that arrive in the tool center
  • Provide general operations and administrative support to Tooling Coordinators, Facility Managers and Logistics team as necessary
  • Plan and schedule tasks assigned by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bacherlor degree or 2 years of experience in a sourcing-related role
  • Or High School Diploma and 5 years of logistics planning and execution experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals
