Job Summary:

The Regional Total Rewards Manager will implement global Total Rewards policies, processes, and procedures to be responsive to the company’s goals and competitive practices in the specified region and for countries within the specified region.  The Regional Total Rewards Manager will work with, and support, the Director of Total Rewards in creating a regional Total Rewards strategy in-line with regional and global business goals.

The Regional Total Rewards Manager will collect, analyze, and audit compensation data to ensure accuracy and maintain internal equity and external competitiveness.  The Regional Total Rewards Manager will work with Benefit and Insurance Brokers to ensure that annual Benefits renewals are competitive, make commercial sense for the company and are in-line with local market practice.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefit policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation and benefit trends as well as corporate objectives; coordinates the implementation of compensation and benefit policies and provides guidance to HR Managers and business leaders
  • Provide key HR stakeholders and business partners with detailed compensation analyses, advice on pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation
  • Review, develop, and oversee global staff salary review processes as they apply to the region including the annual merit increase, incentive compensation, and market adjustments while maintaining data integrity and standardized processes and procedures
  • Manage the company’s leveling framework for staff and field positions based in the region, including job documentation, leveling, benchmarking, and defining career progression opportunities and compensation adjustments as applicable
  • Participate and submit company data to salary surveys for the region. Interpret compensation data and apply to job and pay structures
  • Keeps apprised of country laws and regulations in the region to ensure company compliance in the area of compensation and benefits
  • Liaise with colleagues in GE Power Gas as required on operational activities
  • Manage annual benefit renewals in the region
  • Mange reward related [Success Factors] HRIS activities
  • Collate compensation and benefit data requests as required for HR colleagues and business partners
  • Support HR colleagues and business partners on harmonization of employment Terms and Conditions with respect to Compensation and Benefits
  • Deal with company car policy and company car eligibility queries. Work with the Total Rewards Director to create the Total Rewards strategy for the region
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel may be required
  • English proficiency required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or business-related field is required
  • 4+ years of Total Reward or 7+ related HR experience is required
  • 3+ years managing and developing employees
  • CCP and/or PHR certifications are preferred (US Only)
