Job Summary:

The Immigration Manager III will serve as a business partner to regional leaders with the aim of developing and implementing a regional immigration strategy that ensures compliance with all FieldCore policies/processes and contributes to FieldCore’s overall mobilization strategy, business results and initiatives. Will lead and develop a team of immigration staff who are responsible for inbound and outbound mobilizations within multiple countries or regions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leverage professional expertise and relationships to partner with functional/global leaders, particularly Region Operations, to determine regional Immigration/mobilization plans and strategies that will enable large/complex deployments
  • Utilize Lean principles, mainly: Process Mapping, Waste Elimination, and others to drive culture of continuous improvement, streamline existing processes/procedures, drive improvements in speed, accuracy, and cost-reduction while compliantly fulfilling regional/cross regional immigration deliverables
  • Employ Lean problem-solving tools and principles to proactively identify, define, isolate, and resolve/prevent complex, strategic mobilization problems across multiple countries or regions
  • Apply advanced subject matter expertise to lead, oversee and/or participate in highly complex immigration projects by communicating and coordinating requirements, roles and responsibilities, determining milestones, assessing optional courses of action, changing assumptions and direction when necessary, implementing results and expediting fulfillment
  • Identify/track/communicate comprehensive data forecasts, projections, and in-depth, timely data analysis to aid regional leaders in planning and driving business results
  • Serve as major point of escalation to advise best course of action or provide innovative, out-of-the-box, compliant, solutions during emergency, irregular or unknown mobility situations within a particular region
  • Utilize Key Performance Indicators, reports/metrics, daily management, and standard work principles to establish guidance/processes to deploy resources with the aim of meeting immigration needs while maximizing optimization
  • Use advanced industry knowledge to advise, audit, and report on risk mitigation processes and policies based on prescribed risk tolerance
  • Ensure timely knowledge sharing by liaising with other departments to communicate and train regional stakeholders on new/modified government regulations, approaches, interpretations, findings, trends, legal and procedural changes which may impact operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, other departments, parent company, end customers, etc. to drive standards, proper utilization of processes/tools/systems to ensure global compliance and timely execution
  • Create regional team structure to support FC initiatives and execute strategy
  • Lead, develop and coach regional Immigration team to include identifying key metrics, providing regular feedback, assessing training/skill gaps, and creating development opportunities
  • Maintain financial accountability by adhering to prescribed budget and making recommendations to drive cost effectiveness
  • Drive regional cost competitiveness by analyzing and reporting on regional mobilization spend and effectively managing external suppliers’ governance and Service Level Agreements
  • Take initiative to evolve the role, strategies, priorities, and processes as necessary to meet changing business/environment needs
  • Travel required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
  • 10+ years progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 5+ years managing and developing employees
  • 4+ years of specialized/industry experience with international mobility processes including, but not limited to, experience with immigration, visa, and relocation requirements
  • English proficiency required
