Job Summary:

The FP&A Director II leads financial analysis activities throughout the FieldCore organization to meet the needs of internal customers by providing timely and accurate data reporting and partnering to drive profitability for the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the corporate forecasting/strategic planning process to drive effective and timely financial information to business leadership
  • Oversee the development of business models for use to create strategic plans, annual budgets, and ongoing forecast revisions
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis
  • Ensure planning cycle and reporting requirements are met by facilitating and coordinating financial analysis efforts across multiple internal customers
  • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process
  • Establish key operation metrics and drive their use throughout the regions – including but not limited to Bench/ Training Cost Analysis; publish trends and work with assignment teams to control non-productive labor cost
  • Design decision models for new customer, new product segments, business, and project economics
  • Collaborate with regional and service line teams to drive alignment to revenue and cash targets and support business development
  • Create and drive the analytic framework for planning and managing organizational change in a highly entrepreneurial organization
  • Leverage IT systems and implement automated methods of reporting and data collection where manual processes currently exist
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop Finance talent within the organization
  • Travel may be required
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent
  • Master’s degree, CPA or MBA preferred
  • 12+ years’ finance experience
  • 7+ years in a finance leadership role, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
  • English proficiency required


Desired Characteristics:

  • Master’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or MBA
  • 10+ years of financial analysis and strategic planning experience in a global environment
  • Extensive experience with strategic planning
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, teambuilding, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly proficient technical skills including MS Office, with SAP and Oracle skills an advantage
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology driven environment leveraging innovation and collaboration
  • Energetic, can-do attitude, forward-thinking leader and strong ability to multi-task
  • Experience with process improvement and/or change management
  • Think analytically, focus on the big picture, and able to drill into the detail and understand the impact. Understand how the business operates and the upstream and downstream activities that impact and are impacted by Shared Services
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, teambuilding, and problem-solving skills
  • Very good communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
  • Capable of providing sound, practical advice in response to complex and rapidly changing conditions
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing projects concurrently with a results-oriented focus
