Job Summary:

The Machinist II is responsible for operating mobile equipment, tools & machinery efficiently and accurately onsite. Skillfully and safely replaces machine parts for industrial equipment, complete shop and field repairs on equipment; complete welding repairs and fabrication; use problem solving skills to quickly address and resolve mechanical operating issues. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Overhaul and refurbish plant equipment on site and within the workshop in accordance to approved instructions
  • Perform maintenance of clean work areas, machines and equipment
  • Deliver expectations on EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety), Quality, On-Time Delivery, Productivity and Cost Reduction
  • Complete mandatory trainings
  • Ensure proper documentation as specified on Test & Inspect Plans, Work instructions
  • Notify non-conformances and tags / segregates non-conforming items
  • Ensure equipment calibration, proper usage of equipment and right material incorporated
  • Travel may be required
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience operating manual Workshop machinery
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience with onsite Machining and Mobile Equipment
  • Able to perform machining job independently
  • Spoken and Written Skills in English is required

  • A good Knowledge of approved procedures and instructions
  • Able to work without supervision, execute tasks when engaged on solo basis and work in a team environment and cooperate with fellow workers
  • Fitter / Winder Trade Certificate
  • Forklift License, Lifting Supervisor Safety Course, Rigging and Signalman Course preferred
  • Experience as Generator Technician or equivalent preferred
  • Must have Valid Passport, Driver License
  • Capable of creative thinking and quick problem solving
