Job Summary:

The IT Developer II (ServiceNow Developer) will play a key role in supporting the ServiceNow application, assist with developing and rolling out HR Service Delivery (HRSD) and Employee Document Management (EDM) globally. Will be a member of the ServiceNow technical team and will work with key business functions to build scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototype, implement, test and deploy business rules, client scripts, UI policies, scheduled jobs, import sets, transform maps, ACLs, notifications, and workflows using Flow Designer.
  • Develop custom applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applications
  • Design, prototype, implement, test and deploy business rules, clients scripts, UI policies, scheduled jobs, import sets, transform maps, ACLs and notifications
  • Detailed knowledge of HRSD components, including case management, employee service center / service portal, agent workspace, advanced work assignment, service definition, service catalog, record producers, SLA definition, and knowledge management
  • Detailed understanding of all configuration items / options related to HRSD, including HR profile, integrations, COEs, Services, Service Catalog, Agent Workspace, Knowledge Management, workflows, approvals, assignment rules / advanced work assignment queues, User / HR criteria, notifications, SLAs, Employee Service Center / Content Delivery, Reporting, Performance Analytics
  • Understand how to Configure Security Options to Protect HR Data
  • Understand ServiceNow HR System Architecture - Plugins, HR Table Structure, Application Scoping
  • Configure and Implement ServiceNow Core HR Applications and Employee Service Center - Users, Groups, Skills, and Roles, Assignment Rules, HR Services, HR Catalog Items, and Record Producers, HR Service Portal Branding
  • Responsible for reviewing requirements to ensure that they have sufficient detail to be accurately scoped and estimated
  • Provide administrative ServiceNow support, including advanced support via troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes and root cause analysis
  • Use scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality create script to automate tasks being done in ServiceNow
  • Travel required
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Systems or related field or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
  • ServiceNow System Admin Certification
  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions including: ServiceNow APIs, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, REST/SOAP, SCP, FTPS
  • Web Portal development skills, such as XML, HTML, CSS, Angular JS, bootstrap
  • English proficiency required

Desired Characteristics:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • Display aptitude in learning new modules
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and documentation ski
  • 1 - 2 or more full implementations of ServiceNow HRSD within the last two years, including case management, portal, service level management, agent workspace, advanced work assignment, predictive intelligence, reporting, and performance analytics; if only one full implementation, it must have been completed within the last 6 months
  • HR / HRIS background, and familiarity with common HRIS systems, such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors
  • Understanding of HR processes, delivery models, and organizational structures
