IT Field Services Analyst

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Job Summary:

The IT Field Services Analyst will drive the management and implementation of FieldCore’s Field Service digital programs for multiple countries. Will work cross-functionally within GE and/or FieldCore, coordinate deployment of devices, software and training, and ensure a feedback loop exists for continuous improvement from the field employee to the software developers and training department.  Will identify, pilot and industrialize new Field Innovations to drive automation and productivity.  Will ensure effective, collaborative results within FieldCore and other FieldCore functions such as EHS, Quality, Resource Operations, and regional GE Field Service Excellence Leaders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Industrialize new Field IT Innovations (Merged/virtual reality, visual management dashboards, etc) to FieldCore regions and be a champion for change.
  • Own the change management for the implementation of new Field Service IT tools, applications and best practices within their respective region(s), including regional strategy, deployment, communication, training and post go live support.
  • Manage the implementation of new Field Service tools, applications and best practices within FC
  • Participate in and coordinate FC’s involvement in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance
    Testing (UAT)
  • Manage the resolution of technical issues identified by FC field employees
  • Develop, track and maintain Key Performance Indicators for the Service Excellence team
  • Travel may be required
  • You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Systems or related field or equivalent required
  • 8+ years in either field service or information systems development, or 9-13 years of experience in field services or information systems roles in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of specialized/industry experience
  • Experience with development and implementation of iPad Application based mobility platforms for field service
  • English proficiency required
