Role Summary/Purpose
The WorkForce Software Analyst role provides functional expertise to help business implement effective solutions using Time & Attendance Workforce Software. The Analyst understands and translates customer needs into business and technology solutions in WorkForce Software via the analysis, design and/or development of best practice business changes.
 
Essential Functions
  • Participate in WorkForce Software implementations including requirements gathering, system configuration, and user parallel test phases as needed.
  • Support WorkForce Software including updating all configurable and programmable capabilities of the Workforce Software Time & Attendance software solution. 
  • Document requirements for configuring WorkForce Software defects, enhancements or new functionality.
  • Define, build and implement enhancements to Payroll processes and structure that will improve the system’s alignment to business objectives and ability to help drive business results.
  • Assist Payroll technology implementations through planning, process design, configuration, user acceptance testing, etc.
  • Document and analyze requirements ensuring fit with functionality, providing solutions to meet the business need.
  • Develop working prototypes, test, deliver and support configuration of the product.
  • Educate and facilitate knowledge transfer of processes, configuration and overall functionality to junior team members.
  • Manage production support tickets relating to WorkForce Software while working closely with Payroll and other support teams .
  • Monitor job logs and take corrective action as needed or report to the appropriate team for resolution.
  • Research production support issues and any WF related issues, determine root cause, recommend/implement/document solution, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and analyze reporting/queries within WorkForce Software using existing reports, creating custom reports, or querying the database tables directly. 
  • Create functional specifications for any new interfaces / changes to existing interfaces between WorkForce Software, SuccessFactors and other in house or 3rd party Payroll applications, work with interface developers and testing teams to ensure proper testing and implementation. 
  • Maintain and update lookup tables based on business requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. Business or Information Systems); or four years related experience in lieu of degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Must have 1+ years of Workforce Time and Attendance technical and functional knowledge experience  
  • English proficiency required
