Global Tax Accountant, ( 23-7499)

Job Summary:

The Global Tax Accountant II will support international tax compliance and reporting for various tax types including income tax, transactional taxes, withholding taxes and payroll taxes, along with participating in tax planning efforts, and transfer pricing analysis. The Global Tax Accountant II will analyze tax records and reports for financial statement purposes in accordance with ASC 740 (fka SFAS109/FIN 48), as well as local country GAAP standards. This position will ensure tax compliance with all applicable government agencies and in accordance with company policies and procedures. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounting for income taxes, including the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations for US GAAP and local country statutory reporting
  • Preparation of annual workbooks to support the preparation and filing of local country income tax returns
  • Support the annual process of reconciling US GAAP to statutory accounting financial results and support and track the US GAAP deferred tax inventory items generated by the statutory accounting adjustments.
  • Statutory Income tax return to provision analysis and reconciliation including analysis and support of all recorded deferred tax inventory items
  • Interact with local country finance leads to analyze local tax positions and determine the appropriate tax accounting treatment
  • Interface with internal and external vendors for the required support for the preparation of transactional tax returns including value added taxes, goods & services taxes, and sales & use taxes.
  • Monitor transactional tax compliance in all jurisdictions
  • Support the global mobility tax team in preparing tax calculations and support for shadow payroll taxation and personal income tax returns for company employees.
  • Monitor, analyze and track withholding taxes and work with local finance leads to gather required documentation to support withholding tax balances
  • Direct Interface with Government Authorities for tax audits, inquires and consultations
  • Supports Business Operations with project evaluation to ensure that all tax costs are covered
  • Reconcile the company’s tax accounts and transmit the data to the parent company
  • Monitor tax compliance and update the electronic compliance database
  • Assist with tax research and planning
  • Provide support on tax audits
  • Participate in the transfer pricing strategy and policies
  • Support and maintain tax policies and procedures manual
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel may be required
  • English proficiency required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • CPA or Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years tax experience with minimum of two years’ experience in international tax
  • Public and corporate tax experience is preferred
