Job Summary:
The Financial Auditor is responsible for examining the organization’s financial records to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date and that processes for generating and maintaining financial records and documents comply with applicable standards and regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Plan and perform audit procedures, including collecting data/ information, reviewing, and analyzing evidence, ensuring company processes and procedures are followed
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, accuracy, and completeness
- Provide recommendations for improvement using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed and submits overall recommendations to leadership team
- Identify compliance and control risks, loopholes, weaknesses, and threats, and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings initiatives based on findings and data trends
- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards
- Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards and ensure internal audit activities to further strengthen compliance with local regulations and/or company policies
- Conduct any special / ad-hoc investigations and audits authorized by the management
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document process
- Conduct internal audits within the competence and confidentiality
- Travel may be required
- May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Controllership, or Audit roles
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel and able to work with large data sets
- Proficient in Accounting principles and practices
- English proficiency required.
Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or related field preferred
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Understanding and familiarity with Lean Business Model concepts and tools
- Excellent analytical, reporting and presentation skills
- Prior experience on ERP / SAP
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute tasks independently
