Role Summary/Purpose

The Tooling Logistics Specialist II is responsible for the inbound/outbound movements of tooling. This includes the inventory control of the SAP-ETM tooling system and a direct link to implementation of tooling procedures, analysis and administration. Responsible for timely and accurate entry of freight cost and dates.

Essential Function

  • Maintain housekeeping of warehouse to meet safety standards and follow all safety guidelines
  • Experience in domestic/international logistics processes, compliance, and procedures
  • Work with transportation companies to ensure on time deliveries and log performances of the carriers to ensure they meet the required standards and set KPI`s.
  • Timely processing of shipment request from Tooling Operations team to fulfil outbound and inbound movement and generate supporting documentation
  • Utilize SAP-ETM system and record dates and freight cost for inbound and outbound shipments in real time to ensure accurate system processing
  • Collaborate with tooling operations team to ensure accurate kits, dates, freight cost, etc are reflected correctly in SAP-ETM system.
  • Timely communication with tooling teams and vendors to meet targeted shipment deadlines
  • Support international logistics team with shipments of tools
  • Enter data into supporting logistic systems to support logistics payments and freight cost
  • Coordination of pickups and deliveries with carriers and field crews
  • Work collaboratively with the Tool Center Team to improve systems and procedures relating to both Tooling and Logistics.
  • Complete required, annual safety training
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
  • Travel may be required
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.


  • Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience in logistics related role
  • Or High School Diploma and 5 years of logistics planning and execution experience
  • Moderate Computer Skills
