Resource Assistant, ( 21-4597)

Job Summary:

The Resource Assistant will collect and process data through systems. The Resource Assistant will assist supervisors/managers with employee readiness by entering training requests in systems, coordinating travel arrangements, ordering uniforms and/or equipment, and tracking course completions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collect data, ensure accuracy, and process through appropriate systems
  • Enter training requests in systems
  • Order equipment and uniforms as needed
  • Track the completion of training courses
  • Coordinate travel arrangements as needed. This includes assisting the team to ensure all paperwork, including applications for immigration and visas, are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist to coordinate with third parties regarding documentation needs (country specific), government agencies for certification legalization, translation, etc. of documents
  • Assist to track Visa and work permit progress through the Immigration “Work queue” and maintain accurate data in accordance with the Immigration Department’s guidelines
  • Support supervisors/managers with employee readiness for sites by following checklists and processes such as work permit, residency and/or visa requirements
  • Monitor systems of record to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • English proficiency required
  • Travel may be required

  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with web-based programs
  • English proficiency required + 1 or more other languages are required
