FieldCore is looking for exceptional Experienced and Entry-Level Mechanical Field Engineers and Technical Field Advisors to join our Field Operations team based in Europe. Primary locations: Spain, Italy, and Poland.

As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains, and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

Let’s Talk About the Role

As a Technical Field Advisor for Gas Turbines and Steam Turbines, you will contribute to the management of site activities, including planning, organizing, integrating, and monitoring resources such as labor, tools, and technical assistance. You will make decisions, apply technical concepts to complex issues, and resolve challenges through immediate action or short-term planning at customer power-generating facilities. In addition, you will perform hands-on work and be responsible for the maintenance of Gas Turbines and selected Steam Turbine systems.

How You Will Make a Difference

* Maintain a strong safety mindset to ensure all work is executed in accordance with technical requirements and GE safety standards.
* Manage, coordinate, and monitor site activities related to Gas Turbine installations, maintenance, and repairs.
* Lead and manage on-site systems and equipment, including ongoing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration activities following installation.
* Respond promptly to requests for emergency repairs and services on critical equipment.
* Provide technical guidance and ensure work is performed according to company standards regarding operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance activities at customer sites.
* Prepare technical reports, job status reports, customer reports, timesheets, and expense reports accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
* Drive customer satisfaction through a strong commitment to quality and operational excellence.
* Prepare timely and accurate technical documentation for customer records and future outage references.
* Conduct site walk-downs to verify that contractors and craft personnel are working in accordance with company standards.
* Direct and manage aftermarket upgrades and modifications performed at the site level.

Special Role Requirements

* Ability to travel extensively to domestic and international projects and various field assignments.
* Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.
* Ability to spend extended periods away from home for training and field assignments.

Skills for Success

You should have extensive Field Engineering Services experience with a solid understanding of Gas Turbine operation and controlling parameters. In addition, you will:

* Demonstrate strong technical competence in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical flow diagrams, instrumentation diagrams, dial and laser alignment systems, and thermal growth equipment.
* Possess the knowledge and skills required to actively support field service activities and understand where to seek technical guidance when necessary.
* Have experience supporting successful installations and working with Alstom, Siemens, or other OEM equipment.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; however, we are most interested in your overall experience, technical expertise, and professional achievements.
