Job Summary

The Tooling Specialty Associate I will be responsible for inventorying, inspecting, and testing of specific product line tools. Responsible for timely completion of assigned project requests. Responsible for testing, cleaning, calibration and restock of specialized tools. Will update project schedules and assign equipment as appropriate when inspections are complete and successful.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain housekeeping of warehouse to meet safety standards and follow all safety guidelines
  • Knowledge of assigned product line tooling or discipline such as; gas productivity, technology, electrical, precision and hydraulic tooling kits, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, procedures, and manuals
  • Repair, maintain, and adjust tooling
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine maintenance needed which includes determining the proper tools and equipment necessary to complete a job.
  • Timely completion of assembly of specialized tooling kit and sub-kits to meet tool center schedule requirements
  • Maintain quality assurance and inventory of supplies for restocking of kits and sub-kits.
  • Ensure kits and sub kits are delivered with no quality issues (missing parts or non-working parts) once delivered.
  • Review returned kit and sub-kit inventory to ensure all items are accounted for as outlined in inventory system
  • Complete visual and functional inspection to ensure all are in working condition.
  • Clean, reorganize, and perform defined testing on all returned kits and sub-kits
  • Must be able to utilize tooling systems in order to record inspections, restock and where applicable assign kits to specific jobs
  • Track precision/specialty tool serial numbers for asset and certification tracking
  • Contact and schedule vendors to perform production maintenance or calibration
  • Review certification dates and track inbound and outbound shipments of specialty tools to vendors
  • Must be able to manage multiple complexities and prioritize work scope based on work direction/schedule
  • Must enter and maintain accurate records as part of daily activities – needs to be in all JDs
  • Follow standard maintenance protocol to ensure compliance is always met.
  • Complete required, annual safety training
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
  • Travel may be required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience with inspection of complex tooling
  • Moderate computer knowledge and skills
  • English Proficiency Required

Physical Requirements (EU Excluded)

  • Must be able to see and move throughout warehouse to resolve work problems and facilitate processes; repetitive motion activities may be involved.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Ability and willingness to handle repetitive weight up to 40 lbs.

.Compensation and Benefits:
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.26 to $28.51.  Employees may be eligible for overtime.  FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program.  Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
