Job Summary:
The Complex Tendering Project Manager III is responsible for the tendering, planning and execution of complex outages across the US, ensuring excellence across a number of key metrics, including health & safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost & productivity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Works closely with GE Commercial & Sales teams to provide tailored outage plans for potential contracts, and with Finance to forecast outage costs and productivity opportunities to contribute to the FieldCore operating plan
- Develop field service outage cost estimates using standards. Ensure all aspects of the job related to field service are planned accordingly, including schedule, cost, man loading, and job set-up.
- Prepare outage offer, ensuring competitiveness in relation to scope, resourcing, timing and cost
- Plan, prepare, and manage projects from beginning to end by reviewing project requirements, setting up projects, mapping POs, developing and executing against cost estimates, establishing project risk analysis and mitigation strategies, and owning performance relative to Fulfillment5 and customer KPI/CTQs targets
- Serve as the additional customer interface with P&L, and communicate with the Customer Service Manager, CSL, and CPM
- Communicate with Field Service Coordinators, Resource Managers, EHS Managers, and Staff Project Managers to update the job status and ensure project success
- Lead daily project execution status calls, Day 0 calls, and other as needed to ensure outage success.
- Own the status and monitoring of progress and costs of the project with the support of the project controls team
- Conduct audits and inspections on the work teams during the execution of the installation, commissioning, receiving, operation and maintenance activities
- Ensure EHS standards at site are met by working with the Site EHS Specialists to develop and execute FME plans, customer requirements, and overall OneGE EHS plan compliance and completion
- Run or support (as required) end customer pre- and post-outage meetings to maximize project efficiency and effectiveness
- Approve technical reports generated on site, update documentation as required
- Maintain contact with TFAs running you assigned projects for direction, updates and support as needed
- Partner with Operations team to ensure feedback loop to drive continuous improvement and provide inputs to key planning and review processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with minimum 5 years project management experience;
- 10+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
- 5+ years managing and developing employees
- 10+ years of specialized/industry experience
- English proficiency required

- Some travel required
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $103,200 to $173,400. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program. Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
