Forecasting Analytics Professional II, ( 21-4971)

This position can be based in the UK, Spain or Greece. Candidates need to be based in one of these countries.

Job Summary:

The Forecasting Analytics Professional will develop practical and innovative ways to connect upcoming business opportunities with operational fulfillment planning. integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and develop regional Resources (including TFA and Craft) forecasts based on all available data sources including, but not limited to,, historical data, Outage 360, and the Long-Term Outage Forecast
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Regional Resource Leadership, Commercial Ops and Finance to provide accurate estimates of Field Services demand
  • Own the transfer function/relationship between upcoming outages (all product lines) and the associated impact on Field Resources volume
  • Support key leadership within the Operations Planning process and regional ops teams
  • Lead weekly/monthly/quarterly sessions with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication of all tactical planning needs and real-time availability of the business demand case
  • Define and own clear operational metrics to drive continuous improvement in accuracy of relevant forecasting output
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel may be required
  • English proficiency required

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • Experience in power generation industry is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong skill set in advanced MS Excel functions, knowledge of advanced statistics and Predix a plus
  • Basic comprehension of Tableau
  • Clear thinker with the ability and desire to draw conclusions based on multiple data sets
  • Self-starter able to drive change with a limited degree of direct guidance
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to execute in fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and effectively manage within diverse and global cultures
  • Forecasting/Planning experience
  • Strong decision-making, oral, written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
