As part of the Gas Power One Field Services team, FieldCore installs, maintains and upgrades power generation equipment, enabling operators of the world’s energy infrastructure to provide more reliable and affordable energy.

Job Summary

The Immigration Analyst I will work closely with Managers and Professionals of multiple functions, external stakeholders, governments, and immigration service providers to execute the Immigration Strategy within a Region or Segment and maintain compliance with the company’s immigration policies and procedures. Will focus on implementing standardization, lean initiatives and executing moderately complex immigration projects.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work under a general degree of supervision and utilize solid immigration knowledge to manage a moderately complex level of immigration casework
  • Seamlessly carry out moderately complex, sequential immigration projects while considering contingencies and alternatives
  • Utilize specialized practical immigration knowledge of processes and procedures to provide some contribution towards the Immigration strategy and actively contribute towards process improvements
  • Solves a range of complex immigration problems based on practice, precedent, recognized procedures, and existing solutions, having limited discretion on matters of significance
  • Analyze, plan, and coordinate all requirements of an immigration process from initial consultation and eligibility assessment, to drafting technical advice and documentation preparation, while ensuring legal compliance, optimal processing timeliness, and maximum efficiency
  • Provide operational support to Managers and Professionals by responding to immigration inquiries, identifying, and analyzing a range of existing problems, researching potential solutions, alternatives, and recommended courses of action
  • Serve as liaison between employees, internal stakeholders, outside immigration counsel, and other immigration service providers to act as first point of remediation for any issues
  • Maintain data integrity in accordance with the Immigration Department’s guidelines by tracking visa, work permit, and residence permit progress through the Immigration systems
  • Provides informal guidance to junior team members to manage work performance
  • Manage the local relationships, performances, and evaluations of immigration vendors and providers to ensure a clear understanding of the company’s needs and business objectives and costs are tracked and reviewed
  • Provide support to Immigration leadership team
  • Travel may be required
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • 3+ years Immigration-specific experience, or equivalent
  • English proficiency required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent time and project management skills to meet tight deadlines
