Learning & Development Analyst I, ( 21-5242)

Job Summary:

The Learning and Development Analyst I will support the Learning and Development Systems Manager and Training and Development Managers in their efforts to deploy the competency assurance management system and implement learning and organizational development initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to system functionality and integration with other software
  • Support the communication of system integration/functionality issues to key stakeholders
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts of the Competency Assurance Management System
  • Collaborate with internal customers, and L&D team members to ensure monitoring/status reports and scorecards are delivered and identified gaps are actioned
  • Collect and analyze training/learning resource effectiveness feedback and surveys
  • Work closely with product line, functional and/or regional management teams to ensure visibility, transparency and understanding of program KPI's and quality performance measurements
  • Monitor, record and analyze the effectiveness of competency training programs
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and report on effectiveness and efficiency of competency and learning efforts and programs
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and CDMS systems
  • Support L&D Systems Manager in communicating with learners how to use the technology for online and professional development
  • Develop and update standardized tools and reporting for ongoing access to learning and competency information; generate standard and custom reports 
  • Analyze reporting data and recommend strategic direction to direct supervisor, technical/functional managers, or others, as appropriate.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for LMS and CDMS users
  • Review, monitor, and recommend steps to improve system performance
  • Work with the instructional designers, contractors, vendors, and IT resources to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to accessing course content or competency data
  • Write and maintains technical procedures and policy documentation
  • Review training and competency matrices - providing support with trainingand certification queries
  • Lead ad-hoc and scheduled reporting and administration process for obtaining reports, scorecards and metrics from all Learning Management and Competency data management systems
  • Travel may be required
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in database administration
  • English proficiency required
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Ability to work with spreadsheets in Excel and database directories, file structures, tables, and systems

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong command of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiar with measurement and evaluation techniques such as Kirkpatrick evaluation levels
  • Experience working with databases
  • Experience manipulating and analyzing large and complex data sets
  • Working knowledge of web design technologies
