Job Summary
The Tooling Coordinator will be responsible to maintain, coordinate, update records, visual inspection, and coordinate shipping to the tooling of warehouse. Tooling Coordinator will update the company databases as appropriate ensuring accurate materials and tooling status. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Track tooling and calibration work orders that are open and need to be processed.
- Track shipments that have been sent to customers/ Field Service Representatives to use in repairing customer parts as well as tools that are being retuned for calibration.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that each kit has the proper quantity and tools needed.
- Update records of tools that have been calibrated or need calibration.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that each kit has the proper quantity and tools needed.
- When new tools are purchased, they are added to database.
- Coordinate and package all supplies that will be needed by the outages.
- Monitor each kit before shipping to make sure there is a kit template and a calibration certificate enclosed.
- As stock are depleted issue purchase orders to vendors to order parts and maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
- Maintain warranty records for parts. Request manufacture/vendor to replace parts that wear out within the warranty period.
- Coordinate the shipping of parts working with the Service Managers to ensure on time delivery of kits when needed as well as coordinating the ship of kits that need to be repaired coming from the sites.
- Do visual inspection of specialized kits that come from the sites to determine that everything is there and replace parts as necessary.
- Follow and update the Field Service Tooling procedures to make sure compliance is always met.
- Submit billing reports.
- Maintain housekeeping of Warehouse to meet EHS standards.
- Meet or exceed customer requested delivery date for kit as noted on work order provided by Services Manager or Supervisors.
- Maintenance records for kits that have been processed.
- Create and manage purchase orders for replacement parts for kits.
- Stocking of tools and kit parts to ensure availability of parts per each sites specific requirement as outlined in specification sheets.
- Ensuring that kits are delivered on time with no quality (missing parts or non-working parts) issues once delivered.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel may be required
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor degree or 2 years of experience in a sourcing-related role Or High School Diploma and 5 years of logistics planning and execution experience
- Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals
